Laurie Armstrong Gossy

While earning her degree in Mass Communications at UC Davis, Laurie developed her own personal mission statement:  “I will make my living telling people about things I love.”  She has done just that, promoting destinations like San Francisco, Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, Tuolumne County, and – since 2020 – Jack London State Historic Park.  Her involvement in the travel industry has yielded a lifetime membership in the Society of American Travel Writers and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the TravMedia Global Media Network.  Her secret to successful PR?  Finding and sharing truly great stories, like the history, nature, romance, beauty, literature, community, and people of the park.
