David O'Donnell

David’s connection to Jack London the writer began early and has lasted a lifetime. Around age ten, he received a Christmas gift: a collection of Jack London’s short stories, including The Call of the Wild and The Cruise of the Dazzler, and other tales of adventure that left a lasting impression. His connection to Jack London State Historic Park, though more recent, has been equally rewarding: he has hiked hundreds of miles of its trails and spent nine years serving as a docent. Today, he’s proud to be part of the operations crew, helping maintain the park and enrich visitors’ experience of a remarkable life and landscape.
