About The Kempton-Wace Letters
A collection of letters first published anonymously that was jointly written by Jack London and Anna Strunsky. The letters discuss a wide range of subjects including philosophy, sex and romance. The letters were between two men, Herbert Wace, a young scientist written by Jack London, and Dane Kempton, an elderly poet, written by Anna Strunsky. Both authors were part of the local bohemian group, The Crowd.
