Laura joins JLSHP with 18 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and marketing. She has raised funds through building relationships with major donors, corporations, foundations, and government entities in a variety of sectors, with an emphasis on environmental and education organizations. These include Saturday Academy in Portland, Oregon, Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining, New York, and the Wildlife Conservation Society, located at the Bronx Zoo in NY. She received a J.D. from Florida State University, and has a certificate in Ecotherapy. A lifelong lover of nature, Laura spent 2021 on a solo road trip across the country, visiting 62 of our 63 National Parks to raise awareness about the benefits of healing in nature for mind, body, and spirit. She looks forward to visiting park #63, American Samoa National Park, in the near future.
