Tours and Education Manager
Kristina has worked in the informal education field since 2001 and has taught at institutions such as the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, and an outdoor learning center in southern New Hampshire which she helped to establish. Here at JLSHP, Kristina helped to design and build a thriving education department from the ground up. Over the years her professional duties have included the design, development, and implementation of hands-on science and inquiry-based education programs that support national learning standards, as well as leading family and community programs that connect participants to the natural world through exploration and play. Kristina believes that nature is a powerful teacher that provides endless discovery and inspiration for life-long learning and personal growth.
