Join Rebecca Lawton, author, scientist, and long-time guide, to write poetry in the open air on Oona-pa’is (Sonoma Mountain). We’ll stroll to Jack London’s home to prepare for writing at the tables in the garden (or bring your favorite folding chair). Once we’ve set up our base workshop, Rebecca will instruct each of us to take short, independent field exploration with a notebook in hand near the London ranch. After we’ve independently gathered field data and inspiration, we’ll reconvene at the garden for further instruction and writing fueled by our field trips. Conversation and optional sharing will follow.
