CLOSED A hike with family and friends is a great way to spend a Sunday morning, and it’s a great way to get some exercise and fresh air! Visit the iconic Ancient Redwood estimated to be 1800 to 2000 years old. Expect a moderately paced 3.5-mile hike with a 200 ft elevation gain from 600 to 800 ft through redwoods and mixed evergreens.

After the hike, explore the historic buildings before having a picnic lunch or visiting one of the many lunch venues in Glen Ellen.
Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring optional hiking poles, snacks, and plenty of water.
