Celebrate Memorial Day with a morning hike to explore the three Fallen Bridge Trails? That right, there’s the Old Fallen Bridge, the Upper Fallen Bridge, and the New Fallen Bridge trail, and fortunately no fallen bridge in sight. Although they are separate trails each offers a different experience, from open grassland and mixed evergreens to groves of redwoods. Get to know these trails on a moderate, slow to medium-paced hike approximately 3+ miles roundtrip, returning on Quarry Trail and the newly improved Vineyard Trail to London Lake. Along the trail, we will look for late blooming wildflowers putting on their show.
When you get back you will be ready for your afternoon barbecue with family and friends!
Bring water, hiking poles, and a snack, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes. Expect some elevation change on uneven and rocky park trails.
