Both tours take you along each turn of road and trail within the historic area of the park. It’s the perfect way to enjoy our most comprehensive tour experience without having to walk.
Jack’s Premium Expedition Tour
Add to the adventure by choosing our Premium Expedition tour! This tour takes the experience beyond the Ranch and into the back country. Enjoy the sights and scent of majestic redwoods as you ride up the mountain to the Historic Dam and Bathhouse, built by Jack London to create a reservoir for Beauty Ranch and to house recreation equipment used to play in the former 5 acre lake. But it doesn’t end there… you will continue up the mountain to one of the most scenic and amazing views in the park at May’s Clearing, where on a clear day you can see Mt. Diablo up to 60 miles away! This extended option blends the domestic and the wild to show a fuller picture of Jack London and his beloved mountain home. Duration: 2 1/2 hours
$40 per person (max 5 persons per tour)
Tours are available Monday through Friday only, starting at 10 am or 1 pm.
Not available on weekends or holidays.
