Reconnect with nature and nurture your physical, mental, and emotional well-being through the calming practice of a guided Mindful Walk. Set in the serene beauty of Jack London Park, this refreshing experience is the perfect way to rejuvenate your mind and body. As part of California State Parks Week join us on Saturday, June 14th for a refreshing walk with guide Jeff Falconer.

Walking Meditation has been a healing practice for centuries, embraced by spiritual traditions around the world, as well as those simply seeking inner peace. By combining the everyday act of walking with awareness of your breath, body, and surroundings, this mindful practice offers an immediate sense of calm and a deeper connection to nature. It’s an enriching complement to the physical benefits of walking.
The experience begins with a relaxed loop around Jack’s Beauty Ranch, where you’ll be introduced to the basics of Walking Meditation. For those who wish to delve deeper, a moderate 4-mile hike through the scenic trails to the Ancient Redwood will follow. Jeff will start the journey with a brief introduction to the practice, followed by a grounding meditation to center and prepare us for the walk ahead.
California State Parks Week is presented for you jointly by California State Parks, Save the Redwoods League, Parks California, and California State Parks Foundation.
