SOLD OUT! Discover how great you will feel when you start the new year off on the right foot on the 2022 First Day Hike.  Our 9th Annual Hike to the Summit of the Park can be either a personal challenge to see if you can still make to the top or the start of the new year to get back into shape, designed for all fitness levels with guides to help you return to the parking lot at any time. The roundtrip hike is 8 miles and moderately strenuous.  Smile and be ready to have your picture taken at the top of the mountain while enjoying the views.

By participating in our First Day Hikes you will also participate in the national “First Day Hikes” movement sponsored by America’s State Parks, offering an opportunity to kick off your new year with a healthy start. The January 1, 2022 hike for health at Jack London State Historic Park is part of a collaborative national fitness event with California State Parks.

When: 10 am – 2:30 pm (approx), Saturday, January 1, 2022

Where: Meet at Jack London State Historic Park in the ranch parking lot.
