Have you visited the garden behind Jack and Charmian’s cottage? Are you interested in learning more about the historic plants and what’s involved in maintaining a state park historic garden? Then this is your opportunity to learn how the Cottage Garden has been developed through the years by curator and gardener, Jenny Simpson Randall since 1997, assisted by her cadre of dedicated volunteer gardeners. Jenny will lead a guided tour of the garden while discussing its history, challenges, and the various plants and trees that have grown there since Jack’s time through the gardens’ subsequent reiterations. Learn why certain plants are used around the garden now.
