2026 Call of the Wild Half Marathon & 5 Mile

WHEN:

Saturday, May 2, 2026

WHERE:

Jack London State Historic Park
2400 London Ranch Road
Glen Ellen, CA 95442

Join us at Jack London State Historic Park for its first-ever running event, organized by Enviro-Sports. Choose between a half marathon or a 5-mile run, with all events starting and finishing at the park.
This inaugural event takes you through the heart of the Beauty Ranch, developed by Jack London in the early 1900s. After writing classics like The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and The Sea-Wolf, London settled on the ranch, pursuing innovative agricultural practices while continuing his writing, including The Valley of the Moon. He embraced an active, outdoorsy lifestyle and loved this land, making this event the perfect way to celebrate his spirit of adventure and connection to Sonoma Mountain.
Starting and finishing at the picnic area on the ranch, the trail run offers views of the vineyards and winds through pristine hillsides, redwood and oak woodlands, and the scenic slopes of Sonoma Mountain. Whether you choose the half marathon or the 5-mile run, this is a wonderful way to challenge yourself while exploring the natural beauty and history of the park.
