Make art in the great outdoors at this unique, interactive printmaking workshop on site at Jack London State Historic Park!

Feel inspired by the surroundings of the beautiful park habitat and learn to make stunning gel monotypes without the use of a traditional printing press. Experiment with nature using water-based materials and real plants from the instructor’s garden as stencils! You will walk away with a collection of your very own prints to take home and enjoy. This is sure to be a fun and awe-inspiring class for beginners or even experienced printmakers interested in learning a popular new technique. If you’ve always wanted to try monoprinting and love nature, this class is sure to motivate and inspire you.

Wear walking shoes and dress for variable weather (and artmaking). Bring sunscreen, a water bottle and bag lunch. Extreme weather conditions may cause this workshop to be postponed.

Note: $10 per vehicle entry fee to the park is not included in class fee.
