Blooming Now is a colorful online guide to the variety of wildflowers and other blooms visitors may find throughout our 1,570-acre park containing photos, names, and recently spotted locations. The online guide is updated regularly, and the latest edition can be found here, easy to print or follow online, by walkers and hikers as they seek to identify the blooms along the trails.
To ensure success, visitors still need to look closely and consider the many flower characteristics: sizes can be small or large, colors subdued or splashy, rare or abundant, and their preferred habitats vary from sunny or shady, mixed evergreen forest or wide-open grasslands. It takes a careful eye to spot some blooms so slow down and start looking.
