Hike #1: London Lake
The London Lake private guided hike is a moderate, mostly shaded walk that covers 2.2 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of 180 feet. This hike typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours, depending on the level of park interpretation requested by the group.
Along the route, visitors explore London Lake and the historic redwood log bathhouse while learning about the area’s cultural and natural history. The surrounding landscape features Jack London’s Beauty Ranch and Coast Redwoods, as well as opportunities to spot wildlife.
Groups may request an optional 0.4 mile extension to Mays Clearing, where views can reach as far as Mount Diablo.
