Lace up your boots and join us on an exhilarating 8-mile roundtrip, moderately paced hike to the summit of the park. We’ll begin our journey in the shade of Lake Trail and Mountain Trail, gradually transitioning to the sunlit Hayfields Trail as we ascend towards the Park Summit. The hike will provide you with breathtaking views of the Park and Sonoma Valley, allowing you to take a few proud selfies!
If you have hiked with us before, you know that we want you to have a good time, so our hikes are accompanied by volunteer hike sweeps that can guide you back to the parking lot at anytime. Hiking poles are recommended for navigating rough terrain, and don’t forget to bring plenty of water, lunch, and wear sturdy shoes. We suggest that you dress in layers so you’re comfortable no matter the temperature. Meet in the ranch parking lot on the right as you enter the park.
Note: Extreme heat will cancel this hike. If canceled, hikers will be notified by email, and the webpage will be updated.
