Join us on an exciting adventure into the world of wildflowers! We’ll kick things off with a short outdoor presentation, complete with a display table and handouts, to help you learn how to identify plants and blooms, their pollinators, and the common traits of the Sonoma County plant family.
Let’s start with some fun questions: What’s the difference between a monocot and a dicot? How can you spot the sunflower family? And which family has mostly scented leaves? Why should we care?
Once you learn these things, you’ll have botanical friends all over the world!
Then we’ll start our wildflower walk. So, join us and let’s explore the wonders of the wildflower world together!
