Join us for an enlightening evening at the park as we learn about one of our most fascinating and elusive neighbors – the mountain lion.
Dr. Quinton Martins, co-founder of True Wild, a renowned big cat expert and the lead researcher for the Living with Lions program, will share his groundbreaking work on local mountain lion populations. From tracking and collaring lions to studying their behavior and movement patterns, Martins has dedicated many years to understanding these magnificent predators.
The Living with Lions project is an essential mountain lion research and education project in California’s San Francisco North Bay Region spearheaded by True Wild and Audubon Canyon Ranch (ACR) in partnership with Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue (SCWR) which aims to foster a better understanding and coexistence with mountain lions. This is your chance to learn about the crucial role mountain lions play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem, and how we can help protect them within our region. Don’t miss out on this engaging and educational event—let’s get to know our feline neighbors better!
