Corporate Matching
Make your gift go twice as far by checking with your human resource department to find out if your company will match your gift. If so, ask them for the proper form. Complete the form and send it along with your gift. We’ll notify you when your corporate matching donation arrives.
Tax Planning
If you have reached age 72 (73 if you reach age 72 after Dec. 31, 2022), you must take Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) from your Individual Retirement Account each year. These distributions are taxed as ordinary income and increase your Adjusted Gross Income AGI). However, there is a way to avoid increasing your taxable income while satisfying your charitable wishes.
You can contribute all or part of your RMD to a qualified 501(c) charity and the donation will not increase your AGI.
