Jack London State Historic Park - Picnic Areas

There are several picnic areas in the park: In the museum parking lot (turn left at the entrance station), picnic tables are placed in the center median of the parking lot. This area is great  for a quick picnic.

Individual picnic tables are also located on the knoll, a short walk from the ranch parking lot, at the Wolf House and at the Cottage. Use is first-come, first-served.

A short walk from the ranch parking lot is the Oak Grove group picnic area with several tables, barbeque stands, and potable water. These picnic areas are sheltered by large shady oak  trees overlooking Beauty Ranch. The Oak Grove picnic site and the Terrace picnic site near the London Cottage can be reserved. If the sites are not reserved in advance they are available for all visitors to use.

Picnic sites can be reserved from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  (10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Broadway Under the Stars performance dates.  Go to www.broadwayjacklondon.com for performance dates).
