Jack London State Historic Park - Picnic Areas

There are several picnic areas in the park. In the museum parking lot (turn left at the entrance station), the picnic tables are located in the center median of the parking lot. This area is convenient for a quick picnic.

Individual picnic tables are also located at the Wolf House, in the shade beside the Beauty Ranch Meadow and at the Cottage. Use of picnic tables is on a first-come basis.

The group picnic area is located next to the ranch parking lot, (turn right at the entrance station). This picnic area has several grouped tables, barbeque stands, and potable water. These 3 picnic sites are sheltered by large shady oak trees and overlook the Beauty Ranch.  Picnic site #1 and picnic site #2 can be reserved for a fee. The Terrace picnic site is located next to the London Cottage Garden. This site has 3 levels and overlooks the vineyard. Group picnic sites are available for all visitors if they have not been reserved in advance.

Fees and capacities for the group picnic sites are:

Site #1:  $75 per day  Capacity 50  (most private site)

Site #2:  $60 per day  Capacity 40  (next to site #1)

Terrace: $150 per day  Capacity 50  (next to garden)
