Did you know that there are 30 miles of trails to explore at  Jack London Park, ranging from redwoods to chaparral and incredible vistas. This series of hikes is designed to introduce you to our trails and each month we will guide you on a new hike, ranging from moderate to strenuous and 4 to 13 miles in length. Choose the hike that works for you.

If you have hiked with us before, you know that we want you to have a good time, so each hike is accompanied by volunteer hike sweeps that can guide you back to the parking lot at anytime.

John Lynch will lead our third hike on Saturday, August 24th  from 9:00 to 12:30 as we “Learn the Orchard and never get lost again.” This is prime time to experience the orchard’s bounty but with so many trails it’s easy to get lost! A moderate hike approximately 5 miles round trip with a little nature, a little history and lots of hiking.

Bring your hiking poles, if you have them, plenty of water, snacks and most importantly wear sturdy shoes. We suggest that you dress in layers so you’re comfortable no matter the temperature. Meet in the ranch parking lot on the right as you enter the park.

WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2019. 9:00 am -12:30 pm approximately

ADMISSION: Hike is free, parking fee applies
