We are inspired daily by the beauty and allure of the land at Jack London State Historic Park. A beautiful light transcends the park illuminating historic stone buildings of the Beauty Ranch enclosed by Redwoods and Douglas Firs which highlight the vineyards. There is a story to be told about the 2,000-year-old Ancient Redwood, gnarled and misshapen by the impact of the passing years. The ruins of the Wolf House may inspire you to tell the story of Jack London’s house of dashed dreams. These sensual delights will inspire the painter in you to express yourself in watercolors, oils and acrylics to tell your story. We encourage you to share your painting with others in our Inspired by Jack London State Historic Park Painting Contest. Adults 18 and older are invited to enter.
