Kids Hike to the Ancient Redwood

Kids will unravel the mysteries of the 1,800 to 2,000 year old Ancient Redwood "Grandmother Tree" on a moderate, 4 mile round trip, guided hike led by Bob Long through mixed evergreens and redwoods.

All kids must be accompanied by an adult and be able to hike 4 miles on uneven trail conditions.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water, snacks and a sense of adventure.

Limited to 10 kids (maximum of 2 adults per child). Please register your child to insure a spot.

When: 10 am - 1:00 pm (approx), Saturday, March 3, 2018

Where: Meet at Jack London State Historic Park in the ranch parking lot.

Admission: Free for the hike. $10 parking fee due as you enter the park without a valid passFree

Rain will cancel.
